Over the last 15 years Liz Beddall has travelled extensively through Canada both professionally and personally. Along the way she’s amassed a personal collection of images that capture my deep connection to the outdoors. I’ve named this the Lightbringer Collection. Despite maintaining my urban ties for financial stability, my love for the Canadian wilderness remains paramount. Through my visual art I aim to convey the raw beauty and untold stories of Canada and the natural world. I specialize in finding striking natural contrasts amidst startling streams of edge-of-the-day light. My photography emphasizes authenticity, with subjects captured exactly as they are found. They are, however, often presented at unique angles — a means to spark wonder in viewers and to celebrate the exquisite artistic expressions of our natural world.
